Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 2026
Welcome to 1053 Collision (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at 1053collision.com (the “Site”), as well as any online intake forms, estimate calculators, digital appraisal requests, and communication features offered through the Site.
By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site.
1. Scope of Online Services & Digital Estimates Disclaimer
Non-Binding Nature: Any online repair estimate, photo appraisal, quote, downtime assessment, or fleet revenue recovery calculation provided through the Site is strictly preliminary and non-binding.
Mandatory Physical Teardown: Hidden frame damage, structural misalignment, electrical faults, ADAS sensor issues, and secondary mechanical damage cannot be diagnosed remotely. A binding estimate can only be established after a complete in-person inspection and physical teardown at our repair facility (267 Green Street, South Hackensack, NJ 07606).
Pricing & Availability: Labor rates, paint supplies, parts pricing, and turnaround estimates quoted digitally are subject to change based on actual vehicle condition, parts supply lead times, and carrier negotiations.
2. Physical Intake, Authorizations & Repair Contracts
Use of this Site does not constitute a contract for vehicle repair.
All actual physical repair work, parts ordering, vehicle teardown, and storage are governed by a separate, physical Repair Authorization & Work Order Agreement executed on-site or via direct commercial fleet SLA agreements.
Submitting an online appraisal request or scheduling inquiry does not guarantee an immediate open repair bay or immediate acceptance of a vehicle.
3. Insurance Claims, Direct-Bill & Supplements
Carrier Processing: While 1053 Collision assists vehicle owners and commercial fleet managers (including Amazon DSPs, FedEx contractors, and delivery fleets) with insurance communications, Mitchell / CCC One appraisals, and supplement filings, the registered owner or authorized fleet operator remains ultimately responsible for all repair balances.
Deductibles & Non-Covered Charges: Any deductibles, betterment fees, depreciation charges, or unauthorized repairs declined by an insurer must be paid in full prior to vehicle release.
4. Vehicle Drop-Off, Storage & Abandonment Policy
Storage Charges: Once repairs are completed and notification has been provided (via phone, text, or email), vehicles must be retrieved within the grace period specified in your repair agreement. Storage fees apply thereafter at current facility rates in accordance with New Jersey auto body regulatory standards.
Personal Belongings & Cargo: 1053 Collision is not responsible for loss of or damage to tools, personal effects, commercial freight, packages, or equipment left inside vehicles dropped off at our premises. Customers and fleet drivers are advised to remove all valuables and commercial cargo before intake.
5. Website Intellectual Property

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, or republish any site material without our express written consent.
6. User Conduct & Inbound Submissions
When using our quick dispatch intake, contact forms, or image upload tools:
You agree to provide accurate, current, and truthful vehicle identification, ownership, and contact information.
You agree not to upload harmful code, viruses, or inappropriate content.
You represent that you are the lawful owner of the vehicle or an authorized agent (such as a fleet dispatcher, manager, or contractor) with authority to request repair information.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 1053 Collision, its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including lost profits, fleet downtime, loss of business opportunity, or alternate vehicle rental costs—arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use this Site or reliance on any digital estimates or website tools.
8. Third-Party Links & Tools
Our Site may link to third-party services, including mapping software, carrier claim portals, parts databases, or social platforms. We do not endorse or assume liability for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any disputes arising out of the use of this Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey.
